About Us

Thank you for your visit.  I am Andrea Coulson.  I have a passion for teaching  languages.  I have been teaching kids and adults for most of my life.  I am originally from Argentina. I studied to become an English teacher at the Profesorado Nacional de Maestras en Lenguas Vivas in Buenos Aires.  I also attended California State University Long Beach where I became certified as a bilingual educator. I worked for several years in Laguna Beach. In the 90s I completed my graduate certification in TESOL, teaching English as a second language.  I contracted for the Santa Ana Community College for several years as a ESL and TOEFL instructor. In 2000, I completed a second graduate certificate in Cultural Sociology and Linguistics at the University of Michigan where I worked as a researcher. I also conducted a enrichment program at the Newport Mesa School District for 4 years and lately I have been working with middle school kids at several schools in North Orange County.  I am currently contracted with the Placentia Yorba Linda Unified School District to assess and work with English learners and their families.  In the afternoons and evening, I tutor all level of Spanish and English from AP classes to TOEFL and SAT writing.

About Club A:

Club A was founded by a teacher and mother who wanted to prepare her own son to become a global citizen.  She recognized the value of learning a second or third language, developing personal ideas and preferences, establishing social interactions and appreciating arts at a young age. These activities all benefit brain development and critical thinking, and, of course, standardized test scores!

At Club A, we believe that kids love to learn in a fun and exciting learning environment that motivates them to study.  Small classes provide individual attention and consistent feedback to parents.

The end result is a successful, well grounded and happy child.
